I spotted this beautiful row of trees from the road and waited for an exit so I could return and photograph it properly. Driving onto a field road allowed me to align the trees with the open landscape and dramatic sky. The tracks in the field add another leading line. Nothing dramatic is happening here - just trees, earth and clouds - yet the simplicity gives me a deep sense of peace. This is exactly why I love landscape photography.
