Floriańska Street is normally one of Kraków's busiest places, so I wanted to capture it before the city woke. The nearly empty street leads toward the tower of St. Mary's Basilica, with only a few traces of early movement remaining. Kraków is my hometown, and I grew up around these streets. For me, this photograph is not simply about architecture - it is about seeing a familiar city in a rare, quiet and intimate moment.
